The Fates of Time
The Moirai, or by their better known name, the fates, are by far some of the most powerful beings ever to be alive. They wove the destiny, stories and existence of time, along with all that live within it. There are three goddesses that make up the Moirai, First was Klotho, the spinner who started the life, next was Lakhesis who measured, and added things to the string of ones life, its ups, downs, specialties, and how long the life was to be, and lastly there was Atropos, she who cannot be turned, she cut the string, ending the life. They did this process for every living thing, whether they were animal, man, demi-god, mythical creature, or god, it was up to them how their destinies played out. Even Zeus couldn't escape their control, being forced to submit to their word.
They mostly worked alone and independent of all else, once they had created and assigned a fate, they were responsible and ruthless in their responsibility to make sure that fate played out how it was intended. They employed many gods, and personifications to carry out their fates, like Nemesis the dispenser of Dues.
The fates play many roles in many myths, although because they prefer to be left alone they barely show their faces, but because they are the weavers of time they are technically part of every story, as they are the ones who wrote them.
Family Ties; The Moirai's Mother and Father are Nyx and Erebus, with many siblings such as Aether, Hemera, Ker(es), Moros, Momus, Hypnos, Thanatos, The Oneiroi, Geras, Oizys, Nemesis, Philotes, Apate, Eris, and The Hesperides.
Tributes; They have many symbols, in themselves and how they do their job. Klotho is known to carry a spindle. Lakhesis is known to have a staff. And Atropos is described often with a scroll. Although there are many other symbols such as a wax tablet, a sundial, pair of scales, cutting instruments, scepters, and even a crown.
