Scylla (Σκυλλα)

Translation: Tear

Ship Wrecking Rocks in the Whirlpool

Skylla was not a god, but a sea-monster. She was known to haunt the sharp and jagged rocks that reside in narrow paths or whirlpools, specifically the rocks the wrecked ships and drowned sailors. She is described to be a large creature, with six heads each with three rows of teeth and long necks attached to the scaly long body with twelve feet.


Family; Scylla's mother and father are Phorkys and Ceto, with many siblings such as the Gorgons, Ekhidna, Landon, Graiai, Lamia, and Trienos.


Tributes; there are no known symbols for Scylla as she is a sea-monster.
