Hidden Dangers of the Deep
Phorcys was the god of the deep deep sea, and the treacherousness of it. Not much is known about him as he kept to himself much like his wife/sister. But he is described to have gray hair, crab-like skin, and a fish's tail. Along with his signature torch. Other than that, we only know him through his children with Ceto, such as The She-Dragon (Ekhidna), The Hundred-Headed Serpent (Ladon), The One Eyed Graiai, The Gorgons, The Sailor-Devouring Crab (Skylla), The Shark (Lamia), and Trienos.
Family Ties; Phorcys parents were Gaia (Earth) and Pontos (Sea). His sister/wife is Ceto. He had many half siblings, from both parents' sides. However his whole siblings include, Ceto, Thaumas, Nereus, and Eurybia. He had many children with his wife, Ekhidna, Ladon, Graiai, The Gorgons, Skylla, Lamia, and Tritons.
Tributes; His only known symbol is the torch he carries around.
