Hemera (Ἡμερα)

Roman Name: Dies

Translation: Day

Goddess of the Day

Herema is the personification of the Day, she is also the sister and wife of Aether (light). Described to be just as stunning as her brother, Hemera is depicted in her early 20s with light and soft skin, and a healthy body. She often wears a dress, where her powers seep out of giving the dress an orange hue. Although she is often irrelevant in mythology as she is overshadowed by Hera (Queen of the Heavens, and goddess of Marriage) and Eos (Goddess of the dawn)

Family Ties; Hemeras mother is Nyx and her father is Erebus. She has a husband, Aether who she has had few offspring with. And many siblings, thanks to her parents.

Tributes; Much like her brother/husband Hemera was never given any offerings, nor did the Greeks grant her a Symbol or sacred animal.
