Poseidon (Ποσειδων)

Translation: Neptune

God and King of the Sea

Poseidon is the King of the sea and one of the Great Olympian Gods. He is also the god of earthquakes, floods, drought and horses. He is the third youngest besides Zeus, with Hera as the second youngest. He married Amphitrite, one of the daughters of Nereus and Doris. Poseidon is very hot headed and an impulsive person who is often described to be violent and brash, he clothes heads with Zeus often for his way of ruling and arrogant demeanor. He is also described as a 35ish old man with a strong frame, with a beard on his face and a trident in his hand.

I would put Medusa's story here, but I as an author feel that it is inappropriate to put the victim's story on their attackers page. There is a lot of information on this story all over the internet. If you wish for my personal retelling of the story please email me at bellamorani@outlook.com.au Thank you.
