Hebe (Ἡβη)

Roman Name: Juventas

Translation: Youth

Goddess of Youth and Cupbearer

Hebe is the daughter of Zeus and Hera, she was the goddess of youth and a cupbearer when the gods feasted. She was a partition of Aphrodite, and looked up to her as a role model. She is also the bride of Hercules, she was married by her mother Hera. She does have an opposite, Geras (Old Age).


Family; Hebe's parents are Hera and Zeus. Her siblings include Ares, Hephaestus, Eileithyia, and Enyo.

Tributes; Symbols of Hebe include the Cup, pitcher and her sacred animal, the hen.
