Crius (Κριος)

Translation: Ram

The Ram

Crius was a part of the older generation of Titans, as a big brother for the rest of the titans, he was heavily involved in helping the ambush against his father with Kronus. He was the southern pillar to hold down one of Uranus' legs. This is iconic because his name and role in the titan are both associated with the south. He is also the constellation of 'The Ram' which is also recognized as the star sign Aries.

Family; Cirus' mother and father were Gaia and Uranus. He married Eurybia. He has many siblings like The Cyclopes, The Gigantes, The Hecatoncheires, The Erinyes, The Meliae, and the other titans such as, Tethys, Kronus, Hyperion, Themis, Oceanus, Herus, Rhea, Creus, Iapetus, Mnemosyne, Phoebe, and Atlas. Crius had three children with his wife, Astraios, Pallas, and Perses.

Tributes; Crius represents the pillar of the south, and the star sign of Aries.
