Goddess of the Hunt

Artemis is the goddess of hunting and the wild. She's known as Apollo's twin; she is also the goddess of marriage and protector of unmarried girls. Much like her twin who is the protector of unmarried boys. Although together they bring sudden death through desires, Artemis for girls and Apollo for boys. Artemis is usually depicted as a young maiden or a girl, late teens or early 20s with her quiver of arrows and bow, she's found in the forest hunting with her forest hunter nymphs.


Family; Artemis’ parents are Zeus and Leto. Her brother is Apollo. She hid her son, but Artemis however did have a child, Arcas.

Tributes; Artemis symbols are the Bow and arrow, while her sacred animals are the deer and bear.
