Selene (Σεληνη)

Roman Name: Luna

Translation: Moon

Goddess of the Moon

Selene is described to have white pale skin like the moon and the darkest shade of black hair like the night it resides in. She is often riding side back on a horse, or driving a chariot like her brother pulled by winged horses. She is often depicted to have a Luna shaped crown on her head, and a glittering clock on her back that flows in the wind of the chariot. Her most beloved lover is Prince Endymion, who was granted Eternal Life and youth by Zeus so he could spend eternity with Selene, however the catch was that he would be in eternal sleep. However, this doesn't stop Selene from visiting him in the cave in which he slumbers every night.

Family; Selene's parents are Hyperion and Theia. Her siblings are Eos, and Helios. Her most famous lover is Endymion, but she has no known children.
