Eos (Ηως)

Translation: Dawn

The Morning Dawn

Eos is the goddess of dawn, as is described to have rose colored fingers and usually either riding in a chariot or flying by her own wings. She has two siblings Helios the sun and Selene the moon. She is the daughter of Oceanus because she is said to rise out of the sea every morning to bring her day, because the Sun rises in the east where the sea was. She had many lovers as a result of a curse from Aphrodite that she'll never be satisfied and always wants a new handsome young man, one of these lovers include the Prince of Troy, Tithonos.


Family; Eos Parents are Theia and Hyperion, who gave her two siblings Helios and Selene. Eos has two sons by Tithonus, Memnon and Emathion.

Tributes; Eos has many tributes such as the sky. Animals such as the Cicada and the Horse. Symbols such as a Saffron, Cloak, Rose and Tiara. And many colors including Red, While, Pink and Gold.
